An Introduction to Spiritual Direction A Retreat Sponsored by The Center for Spiritual Growth at Trinity Church Friday, October 5, 6:00PM to Saturday, October 6, 11:00AM St. Francis Retreat House, Easton, PA. Fourteen people gathered at St. Francis Retreat House in October to explore Spiritual Direction (Companionship). We were invited into community, study, solitude and singing. The silence observed through Friday night was begun after singing together outdoors under the light of the moon. Rich moments were experienced as the Spirit moved among us, and we are grateful. The Worship Center Table Sharing in a Lectio Divina Group Retreats such as this invite us into a more spacious exploration of God's presence, where we seek discernment and prayerful companionship in our journey. In such a retreat setting, the possibility of entering into individual and group spiritual direction becomes a grace-filled reality.
